X Helinox Tactical Cot

Ask any hunter who has slept in the backcountry and they’ll tell you a good night’s sleep is a luxury. Most will opt for a sleeping pad and take what the ground offers. But for those who want to sleep off the ground on a comfortable cot that doesn’t weigh a lot, the Filson X Helinox Tactical Cot is a great option. 

It weighs 5.1 pounds and when it’s broken down it fits into a stuff sack that is 21” long and about 6” in diameter. The cot is built hell-stout and is made from heavy-duty DAC aluminum poles with shock-corded nylon resin hubs and lever-locking, quick-release attachments. The sleeping platform is made from durable 600D polyester fabric that stretches tight between the poles. It takes less than a minute to set up.

The Filson X Helinox Tactical Cot can hold up to 320 pounds and the sleeping platform is 74.5” x 26.5”. The cot sits 6.6” off the ground ensuring the cold ground doesn’t zap your body heat. It can be used with a sleeping pad, but not necessary. 

It’s one of the lightest, packable cots in the industry that can withstand years of use.
