Leupold® BX-4 Pro Guide HD Binocular

Rare are the moments where you spot that buck of a lifetime making a casual mid-day stroll through an open meadow. Under such circumstances, just about any old pair of binoculars will suffice. The reality is, however, that the moment Mr. Big slips up and makes his whereabouts known, it will probably be in a thick patch of brush, in the pouring rain, with minutes left of daylight. These are the moments when having a quality pair of optics will allow you to capitalize on the opportunity instead of being left, quite literally, in the dark.

The all new BX-4 Pro Guide HD binoculars by Leupold® will allow you to make the most of even the lowest light situations by providing exceptional light transmission and contrast with vibrant colors and crisp, clear image detail. The multi coated lens system and phase coated prisms greatly enhance brightness and sharpness, and the Twilight Max Light Management System is specially developed to maximize wavelength transmission of certain colors to optimize color balance and contrast in low light, while also cutting glare when used in bright light situations. BAK-4 prisms and calcium-fluoride Extra Low Dispersion lenses produce the high definition needed to distinguish antler tines from twigs.

The aluminum housing is rugged enough to withstand years of heavy use, while helping to minimize overall weight. Tipping the scales at 24 ounces, with an overall height of just over 5 ½ inches, the open bridge design of the tested 10×42 BX-4 Pro Guide HD proved to be both comfortable to handle, and easy to pack. A unique click-lock diopter adjustment on the center focus wheel holds diopter setting securely and eliminates accidental movement in the field. Twist up eye cups work with both glasses and the naked eye. A padded neck strap has quick release buckles for using the binoculars independent of the strap, and a padded case has wide, snap style belt straps allowing easy mounting on packs and clothing.

The BX-4 Pro Guide HD binocular is available in six configurations: 8×32, 10×32, 8×42, 10×42, 10×50 and 12×50. Finish options include Shadow Gray, Kryptek Typhoon, and Sitka Subalpine. Backed by the Leupold Full Lifetime Guarantee.
